But what happens after the initial crisis is over and most aid agencies have left? WarTrauma Foundation has been working to help mental health workers in Iraq to make informed decisions about what to do next and how to improve humanitarian interventions.

As experienced assessors, the WarTrauma Foundation technical advisors use different tools and techniques for collecting information, from focus group discussions and interviews to mapping and drawings. WarTrauma Foundation has recently mapped the MHPSS needs and strengths for UNICEF in Iraq.
