Musicians crossing lingering divides

In former war zones hostilities do not simply cease to exist when peace is declared. Such is the case in ethnically divided Mitrovica in Northern Kosovo.

Yet, for young musicians and aspiring rock stars from both sides of divide, the Mitrovica Rock School provides a neutral platform to learn and leap onto the European music scene. The school is funded through support of the European Union and Musicians without Borders.

WarTrauma Foundation consultants evaluated the school for the EU, through reviews, staff and client interviews, focus group discussions and observation in 2015.
